Xiaomi has announced some of their handsets will get the Android 7.0 update in 2017.
Some of the devices that will receive the new update are the Mi max, Mi5, Mi4 and Redmi Note 3. Xiaomi has already released the Android Marshmallow update to many of its devices and now some more handsets are going to get the Android M updates.

Speculations are doing the rounds that the update will come to the Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy S7, S6 Edge +, S6 Edge, Galaxy Note 7 and Galaxy S6.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 should have Android Marshmallow on most carriers such as T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon and AT&T. As for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, it has come on the Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon.
In addition, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 is getting the Android M update in 8.0 and 9.7 inch sizes. The Galaxy Tab S and the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 have got the update.
Unfortunately, Samsung Galaxy S4 and Samsung Galaxy S3 will not receive the Android Marshmallow update.
People who have a newer Samsung devices should check their Settings and System Updates to see if Android Marshmallow is ready to download over-the-air. It is important to note that particular carriers get the Android update before others.
Meanwhile, the electronics company LG will announce the V20 smartphone on September 6 and it will begin selling the device soon after that, according to a report from Engadget.
A LG spokesperson said that the device will also be sold in Canada. Furthermore, the company said that V20 will be the world's first smartphone to run Android N, Canada NewsWire reported. It is expected that the smartphone will be identical to the V10 that includes having two displays.
